Android App Crash - Update 5.1.0 [Fixed]

We are currently aware of an app crashing issue which is affecting some Android users after updating to version 5.1.0.

The crash happens as you open the app and will not allow you to access the app as you normally would.

Luqman (Developer) is aware of this issue and will be working on fixing it ASAP today.

In the meantime, we ask you do not install update 5.1.0 on Android as it may pose a risk of an app crash. If you already have update 5.1.0 and it’s crashing then you’ll have to wait for the fix. If it’s not affecting you then please also let us know below.

We will keep you updated and notify you when we have it fixed.

The fix should be out later today.

Thanks for your support as always! We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Update:

Issue has been tracked down to the new splash screen image being too large on some Android 8+ devices.

A hotfix will be released soon which should fix this issue.

For the tech folks:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Canvas: trying to draw too large

I updated the app few hours ago and did a 45 min flight and everything seemed to work fine throughout the duration of the flight. So no crashing of the app from my end.
